Jackson Electric Membership Corporation has selected two students from Gwinnett to participate in its 2019 Washington Youth Tour.
Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology junior Ahema Gaisie and and North Gwinnett High School junior Katelyn Sheridan will attend the all-expense paid program from June 13 to 20 in Washington.
The program, inspired by former President Lyndon B. Johnson and sponsored by Georgia’s electric cooperatives, offers more than 1,800 students nationwide an opportunity to develop their leadership and team-building skills.
