Attention GCPS Students!

SoFi Bank has launched a national financial literacy initiative designed to give students practical, real-world guidance on money, including budgeting, credit, debt, and investing as they prepare for financial independence beyond high school.
As part of the program, students can opt into a $45,000 scholarship-style sweepstakes with cash awards (66 total winners, including a $5,000 grand prize, $1,000 awards, and $500 awards), along with funding opportunities to students. The program is completely free, requires no coordination or involvement from school staff beyond sharing, and the entry takes 30 seconds to complete.
This national initiative offers families access to both practical financial education and real financial support at a critical transition point, with meaningful funding attached.
Any student preparing for college is eligible. Sign-up is open through June 1.
