Kayle Teasley, a Norton Elementary School teacher, was named the 2018 Georgia Council of Teachers of Mathematics Teacher of Promise.

Every year the organization recognizes one outstanding new teacher/member in the state who has no more than three years of experience at the time of the nomination and who demonstrates qualities of excellence in the teaching of mathematics.
