Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology student Sandra Perez has been named a Horatio Alger National Scholarship recipient.

Perez’s hard work in the classroom, involvement in co-curricular and community service activities and integrity and perseverance earned her the prestigious scholarship worth $25,000, a news release said.
