Student Scholarships

*This scholarship is open to applicants districtwide*         A one-time  $5,000 scholarship sponsored by Peach State Federal Credit Union will be awarded to a graduating seniors from GCPS with plans to enter the teaching profession. In addition, the Gwinnett County Public School Foundation will also award a one-time amount of $2,500. No additional application is needed to be considered for both. Applicants will be considered for both, but rules exclude both scholarships going to one winner.       Requirements: 

• • Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • exhibit good character and leadership skills
  • provide a letter of recommendation from a school administrator or counselor
  • submit a two-page essay describing a desire to enter the teaching profession

  IMPORTANT NOTE: You must register the FIRST time you apply ONLY for any online scholarships. After you apply for the first scholarship, all your information will be applied to all scholarships you apply to thereafter. You will only login or logout.       Deadline: February 29, 2024
