United Ebony Society of Gwinnett Robbie Susan Moore Scholarship
*Open to applicants districtwide*
A one-time award of $2,000 for one or more college-bound GCPS seniors who are planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college/university. Selection is based on participation in a leadership role in community service activities or volunteer work, as well as a commitment to making a difference in their community.
Requirements: A GPA minimum 2.7, with plans to enroll in the fall 2022 as a full-time student in either an accredited 2-year or 4-year institution. Submission of 300-word essay on a designated topic. Submit a letter of recommendation from volunteer experience and school/faculty member. Deadline: March 5. Scholarship award recognition is presented during the April School Board Monthly Meeting.
