Rho Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Academic Excellence Scholarship
The Rho Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., is one of several Alumni Chapters of the fraternity in the metro Atlanta area. Our aim is to support and service the needs of Gwinnett County through the pillars of our organization: Bigger and Better Business, Education, and Social Action. Under our education program, we desire to give scholarships in the amount of $1,914 to three graduating male Gwinnett County high school seniors in the Spring of 2024.
The winners will meet the following program guidelines:
The application deadline is March 29, 2024. The recipients of the scholarships will be notified on April 17, 2024. Application
The winners will meet the following program guidelines:
- A record of volunteerism in the community through school and/or non-school sponsored activities.
- Participation in at least one extracurricular school activity.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Plan to attend a college/university or technical school.
- Complete a 500-word essay answering the following prompt: "How will you use your education to have a lasting impact on your community?"
