Akilah Bateman Music Scholarship
*Open to Meadowcreek High School students only.*
A one-time award of $300 sponsored by the family and friends in memory of Akilah Bateman to a graduating senior of Meadowcreek High School who has demonstrated proficiency in music with plans to enroll full-time in an undergraduate course of study in the field of music.
Requirements:
o Applicants must have a 3/0 GPA on a 4/0 scale
o Submit a letter of recommendation by a music teacher or administrator
o Have plans to enroll in an accredited college, university or music school the fall following graduation
o Submit a one-page essay on how music makes a difference in our everyday lives
