Student Scholarships

J. Floyd and Eunice Brannan Scholarship

Open to applicants districtwide.

A renewable award of $1,000 will be presented to three or more GCPS graduating seniors. At least one recipient per award year must be from Central Gwinnett High School. In addition, minority applicants with financial need will be given special consideration in the selection process. The J. Floyd and Eunice Brannan Scholarship is renewable for up to four consecutive years (subject to satisfactory postsecondary progress).

 Requirements: Applicants should possess a minimum 2.5 high school GPA on a 4.0 scale, demonstrate plans to pursue postsecondary study at a four-year college or university, provide a letter of reference from two core-subject area teachers, and submit a two-page essay describing significant participation in community service.

*It is the responsibility of every Brannan Scholarship recipient, seeking additional disbursements for consecutive years in college, to contact the GCPS Foundation office each spring and provide verification of continued college enrollment and minimum 2.0 college GPA on 4.0 scale.
