Leadership development and student achievement are expected to remain top issues for Gwinnett County Public Schools officials as they plan for the future, Superintendent Alvin Wilbanks told the Gwinnett Chamber on Wednesday.
Wilbanks unveiled a draft version of the district’s fiscal year 2018-2022 strategic initiatives and priorities during his State of the Schools address to the chamber at the Infinite Energy Center. The district’s top initiative will continue to be leadership development for staff, but its top priority will remain focusing on student achievement, he said.
