A pair of Gwinnett County high schoolers are among 106 students nationwide who have been named recipients of the 2021 Horatio Alger National Scholarship.

Alexis Nguyen of Discovery High School and Kennedy Odiboh of Shiloh High School are recipients of the $25,000 college scholarship which recognizes outstanding students, who, in the face of great personal adversity, remain committed to obtaining a college degree.
