The city of Suwanee closes out the summer Friday night with its last Food Truck Friday event of the year. The event will look just like the ones held each month, but behind the scenes Suwanee officials know this one is a little different — and they’re proud of that.

Friday’s event, which runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Suwanee Town Center Park, was organized by the Suwanee Youth Leaders, the city’s leadership program for sophomore and junior high school students. It’s the fourth year the group has helped organize a Food Truck Friday, which gives the students a chance to apply the leadership concepts they learn in the program.
