South Gwinnett students learn emergency management skills

“There’s a 15-year-old, non-responsive male. What do you do?” Gwinnett County Police officer Lauren Jones asked a group of South Gwinnett High School students during a disaster simulation Tuesday morning.

This was one of the many questions thrown at students during the school’s inaugural safety event that not only put them in real-life situations, but challenged them to apply what they learned in the classroom.
