Ashley Adams had wanted to join JROTC since she was a middle schooler. Now the senior at South Gwinnett High School can say she made the most of her experience.
Adams received an Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps scholarship worth $95,000. It will help her on her way to Howard University in Washington, D.C.
“I was just drawn to (ROTC),” Adams said. “I fell in love with it. We all are a family. It felt good to be a part of something.”
