Fourth-grader Ethan Surprenant usually takes the bus to Roberts Elementary School, but Wednesday he did something a little bit different.
“I walked up the hill to my school,” the 9-year-old said. “My favorite part was climbing up the last big hill.”
Surprenant was one of more than 100 kids who skipped the bus or the carpool to hike up the path beside the elementary school in Suwanee as part of Roberts Elementary School’s Walk To School Day Wednesday morning.
