The Gwinnett County Public Schools Community-Based Mentoring Program has received a large gift from a major retail chain. TJX, the company that owns T.J. Maxx, donated $5,000 in support of the program’s work identifying and helping students with their social and academic development.

James Rayford, the director of the program, said he is grateful for the gift.
