The Quarry Crusher run is part of a series of races in nine cities home to Vulcan Materials plants. A handful of runners were on their third Quarry Crusher runs this year after competing in races in Columbia, South Carolina, and Birmingham, Alabama The 5K, orchestrated by Vulcan Materials company, which operates the quarry, has several beneficiaries, including Gwinnett County Public Schools in the Meadowcreek cluster. The A. Worley Brown Boys and Girls Club in Norcross also benefited.
