Thursday was a night filled with firsts with the inaugural Gwinnett County Public Schools Girls Flag Football League championship.

History will note Peachtree Ridge as the initial league champion after wins of 18-7 over Grayson in its semifinal game and 20-0 over North Gwinnett in the championship game.
