North Gwinnett sophomore Getty’s neuroscience interest leads to national Brain Bee

As a child, Aayush Setty wasn’t a fan of fairy tales or comics. Instead, his father, Guru, would bring him books about the cardiovascular system and the brain.

“He read those to me and very quickly I thought the brain was fascinating because of all the activity that goes on with it,” Aayush Setty said. “Because of that, I decided I wanted to become a neurosurgeon and I’ve stuck with that.”
