Friday night will be about more than going toe-to-toe with Collins Hill’s football team for Mill Creek High School.
“It’s just a matter of saying ‘thank you’ to the men and women who serve the country and the community,” said Hayden McCall, a school resource officer serving within the Mill Creek Cluster.
Mill Creek will send its thanks to those men and women during its Service Appreciation Night.
The event will get started at 5 p.m., giving the public a chance to interact with first responder and law enforcement displays. Afterward, all active, reserve and retired emergency and military personnel are invited to attend the football game for free.
McCall, who planned the evening, said it’s the least the school can do for service personnel.
