Tuesday night wasn’t about football, as Meadowcreek head coach Jason Carrera put it.

It was about the players, cheerleaders, coaches, parents, teachers and administrators present at the third Louise Radloff Classic Banquet, hosted by Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Lilburn Alliance Church. It’s never been about the senseless violence that used to coincide with the Berkmar and Meadowcreek football teams, violence that wasn’t connected directly to the rivalry on the field.
