Lanier High wins right to apply for IMAX grant

Lanier High School was recently selected as one of 30 schools in the nation to apply for an IMAX grant.

The school’s entries into the All American High School Film Festival helped make it possible.

One film tells the story of Lanier High counselor Bobby Gueh, who shared what life was like as a child growing up in Liberia in west Africa, and then having his world dismantled as he and his family fled to America. A YouTube video is available at https://youtu.be/q1VSqBiaVUA.
