Gwinnett County officials are giving families in need more access access to free meals.

The county announced on Monday that it is extending its summer meals program through August, until Sept. 1. Families who have kids under 18, or adults with physical or mental impairments who are 19 or older, will be able to visit six designated sites on Friday nights in August and receive free grab-and-go meals.
