Last fall, a Parkview High School special education teacher had a student who began wandering around while the class was outside and he wouldn’t agree to go back inside.

The teacher stayed with the student, but she feared he would try to walk off campus. As they walked together, the teacher quietly reached for her CrisisAlert badge and pushed a button on it three times.
