The Gwinnett School of Math, Science and Technology has received a grant that will initially remake six classrooms into innovation labs.

The $30,000 grant will allow GSMST students to explore design, fabrication and the engineering design process.

It is the first phase of a $230,000 project that involves redesigning and outfitting 15 rooms. Support for the program comes from the Arconic Foundation. The first lab is under construction.
