Fort Daniel bringing early Gwinnett history alive at 10th annual Frontier Faire

The Fort Daniel historic site on Hog Mountain dates back more than 200 years, but officials from the Fort Daniel Foundation and Gwinnett Archaeological Research Society will be celebrate a more recent milestone this weekend.

The 10th annual Fort Daniel Frontier Faire will be held from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Fort Daniel historic site, which is located at 2505 Braselton Highway in unincorporated Buford. The event has been an annual celebration of the history of Fort Daniel, which was built as a frontier fort during the War of 1812.
