Discovery has partnered with Sports Medicine South and orthopaedic surgeon Gary Levengood for a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Informational Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The free event, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Discovery High theater, is open to all parents and guardians of student-athletes, students, coaches and other school officials who want to learn more about sudden cardiac awareness and prevention.
