Students from Cooper Elementary School’s Destination Imagination team capped off the elementary school year with a top 10 national finish out of more than 1,400 teams at the Global Finals held at the University of Tennessee from May 23 to 26.

The team made up of fifth-grade students Aubrey Meadows, Phillip Robinson, Ruthie Hendrix, Riley Kashella, Emma Masterson, Lilly Santos and Alexander Marshall finished qualified for the Global Finals after entering their service-based learning project and winning at both the regional and state level.
