Chattahoochee Elementary students qualify for international problem solving competition

A group of students from Chattahoochee Elementary School in Duluth placed first in the state’s Destination Imagination competition in March and received an invitation to the global competition from May 22-25 in Kansas City.

In DI competitions, students work together in teams to create a solution to one of six categories of challenges: technical, scientific, fine arts, improvisational, engineering and service learning. Teams from the U.S. and other countries showcase their solutions at tournaments.
