Cindy Huynh, a Brookwood High School senior, is the system-level 2021 Gwinnett STAR (Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition) Student. The STAR student honor, which is open to public and private school students, is bestowed on the senior in the top 10 percent of his or her class with the highest SAT score. Upon learning that she was Gwinnett County’s STAR Student in a surprise announcement at her school, Huynh was overwhelmed. She said, “This is a huge honor and I am so grateful and appreciative.”
