Berkmar boys basketball team learns teamwork, leadership at Sheriff’s Office obstacle course

Berkmar High School’s boys basketball team got a lesson in teamwork and leadership Tuesday afternoon, but they had to get a little dirty to learn it.

The team visited the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office’s obstacle course, where the office’s rapid response team split them up into teams of four before taking them through the course. They had to show they could work together to get through the course quickly — with deputies shouting at them like drill sergeants.
