Hall of Fame Class 2016Dacula High School, Class of 2004Softball
    • Holds a total of 16 Georgia High School records
    • First-team All-State (2004)
    • Four time All-County honoree, first team, (2001-2004)
    • All-Region Team for 7 AAAAA
    • Gwinnett Daily Post Player of the Year (2004)
    • Named Dacula High School’s MVP (2003-2004)
    • Selected to Georgia’s North All-Star Team
    • Starting center field in the All-Star game
    • Second-team All-State (2002)
    • University of Alabama - second player in school history to hit over .400 in three seasons
    • Fourth player in SEC history to total 300 hits, 200 runs, 100 stolen bases

    • Started programs at Meadowcreek HS and Collins Hill HS
    • Gwinnett County Championship, Meadowcreek HS (1993)
    • Meadowcreek Mustangs had 14 state placers and two state champions
    • Guided Collins Hill HS to 9 state championships: 5 traditional state championships and 4 team dual state championships
    • Coached 35 individual state champions
    • Named 22-time Region Coach of the Year
    • Named Georgia Coach of the Year five times (2002, 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010)
      • Career 730-93 record
      • Georgia Coach of the Year, National Wrestling Coaches Association (2002)
      • Lifetime Service to Wrestling Award – National Wrestling Hall of Fame (2008)
      • National Wrestling Coach of the Year - National High School Coaches Association (2010)
      • Retired from GCPS after 34-year coaching career, 29 in Georgia (2010)
      • Post retirement, head wrestling coach, Greater Atlanta Christian (2010-2015)
      • While at GAC, one Region Championship and top 4 in State Class AA three times

    • Social Studies Teacher/Coach at Norcross HS (1984-2006)
    • Norcross Teacher of the Year (1992, 1997)
    • Coached football, basketball, baseball and softball at Norcross
    • Named Norcross AD (1997)
    • Region AD of the Year (2002, 2005)
    • State AAAAA AD of the Year (2005)
    • Named GCPS Director of Athletics, Student Activities and Community Schools (2006)
    • Developed Gwinnett Heat adapted sports program for students with physical disabilities
    • Started the Aspiring Athletic Administrators Program
    • Implemented a county-wide Code of Conduct for athletes
    • Established the GCPS Outstanding Senior Athlete Banquet
    • During tenure as Director of Athletics, Gwinnett teams won more than 100 state titles
    • Retired with 34 years of service - 32 in GCPS (2015)

    • Scored a South Carolina school-record 51 points vs. Stetson
    • SEC All-time leader in steals
    • One of three women in NCAA history to score 50 or more pts in a game
    • Averaged 23.9 points and 8.1 rebounds as a senior
    • United States Basketball Writers Association All-American Team (2003)
    • Named Nike and Reebok All American
    • Finalist for prestigious Naismith & CLASS Awards
    • Fourth in USC history with 1,903 points
    • First-round pick in WNBA draft to Charlotte Sting (2003)

    • Led University of Georgia in receiving with 46 catches for 726 yards (1995)
    • Career totals of 2,000 receiving yards and 16 touchdown catches
    • Ranks sixth in Bulldog history with 120 catches
    • Played in NFL of Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals
    • Member of Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe
    • Member of Nashville Kats of Arena Football League
    • Member of United States Flag and Touch Football League Hall of Fame
