    • Played six major league seasons, five with Detroit
    • Career .308 hitter; hit .370 in 1925
    • Member of only outfield in major league history to have all three members hit .370 or higher in one season
    • Fellow Detroit outfielder in 1925 withTy Cobb

    • Outstanding basketball player at Central Gwinnett HS
    • Holds single game total of 48 points at Central Gwinnett HS
    • Averaged 27.0 points at Central during the 1973-74 season
    • Gwinnett County Player of the Year 1974
    • Head coach of five Georgia state championship teams in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011, finished as state runner-up in 2005
    • USA Today, ranked a Martin team as the #2 high school basketball program in the nation
    • Team featured in ESPN national broadcast 2006, 2007, 2008
    • March 2008, Norcross team won a third consecutive state title, a milestone no team has met since 1938-1940
    • Has coached 40+ players that have gone on to play college ball
    • Has coached 3 players who are currently playing in the NBA
    • Recorded 600th career win, Feb. 2011

GEORGE ROGERS
Hall of Fame Class 2011Duluth High School Football
    • Won 1980 Heisman Trophy as a senior at South Carolina
    • Won a Super Bowl ring with the Washington Redskins in 1987
    • Finished seven-year NFL career with 7,176 yards rushing and 54 Touchdowns
    • Won NFL rushing title as a rookie with 1,674 yards
    • Had four 1,000-yard rushing seasons in pro career
    • Finished with school record 5,204 career rushing years at South Carolina
    • Rushed for 1,781 yards and 14 TDs as senior with Gamecocks
    • First-team All-American selection in 1979 and 1980
    • Rushed for a then-county record of 2,286 yards for Duluth in 1975
