At Lanier Middle School, robotics is more than just a fun extracurricular activity. It is a way of fostering innovation and critical thinking skills among students, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. In its first year of existence, the Lanier Middle School’s VEX VRC robotics team has achieved an impressive feat by winning the State Championship for Design and has qualified for the World Championship in Dallas, Texas, scheduled for April 27, 2024. Competing against high schools from across the State for much of the season, these talented students have dreams to showcase their skills and creativity on a global stage. However, they need your help to make their dream come true. The cost of travel and accommodation for these events can be cost prohibitive. That’s why they are asking for your generous support to send them to the World Championship.
