Former Gwinnett Heat sports competitor Sam Millikan won the American Association of Adapted Sports Programs’ Outstanding Senior Award at the organization’s second annual ASPIRE Awards ceremony Sunday night.
Millikan, an Archer grad, played multiple sports as a longtime participant for the Gwinnett Heat, Gwinnett County Public Schools’ adapted sports program. He was honored earlier this year at the GCPS Outstanding Senior Athlete Banquet as the Heat’s representative.
