Media, Gwinnett County Public Schools central office administrators and members of the Gwinnett County Board of Education took a tour of the new McClure Health Sciences High School on Thursday. The school will host students for the first time this fall.
Curriculum meets local and state requirements with language arts and social studies course but emphasizes a healthcare focus. Students that graduate will ideally be prepared to enter the workforce in the fields of clinical care, medical support or health information technology. The will also have college and workforce credit if they decide to pursue a degree in the medical field.
