The Gabe Andrews Scholarship honors the legacy of Gabe Andrews, an English Language Arts teacher who spent over a decade inspiring students at the Gwinnett School of Math, Science and Technology. Mr. Andrews was a mentor and motivator who encouraged his students to achieve their best. He was deeply respected by his colleagues and students.
Mr. Andrews led the GSMST Literary Magazine. He also had a love for jazz, ping pong, and soccer.
This annual scholarship recognizes excellence in English Language Arts. Selected by the ELA Department, the recipient reflects the dedication and passion for literature that defined Mr. Andrews’ career and impact on our community.
It is a one-time award of a one-time award of $1,000.
