The Gwinnett County Board of Education recently expressed its appreciation to Gwinnett Medical Center for its support of and contributions to Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). For many years, the two organizations have had a mutually supportive relationship, which has resulted in a commitment to specific goals and activities that have benefited students and improved the school experience, according to GCPS.
That partnership provides a number of benefits, including sports medicine care at the high school level. Gwinnett Medical Center’s 78 certified athletic trainers, along with their leading team of sports medicine physicians, care for more than 42,000 student-athletes across the region.
