Gwinnett County Public Schools’ swimming and diving community will use its marquee meet to benefit a worthy cause.

This week’s Gwinnett County Swimming and Diving Championships also will serve as a collection drive for the GCPS CARE Closet, a mobile food and personal hygiene pantry that serves local high school students. The goal is to gather at least 7,000 items from the meet, which begins Wednesday and runs through Saturday.
