Gwinnett County Public Schools is still a little ways off from reaching its goal of having a 90% graduation rate by the summer of 2027, but Superintendent Calvin Watts told business leaders on Wednesday the district is making progress.
Watts delivered his annual State of the Schools Address to the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta in unincorporated Duluth. The address is a yearly tradition established by Watts’ predecessor, former Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks.
