Murphy Family Murphy Family Academic Athletic Scholarship
(Open to Peachtree Ridge HS graduates only)Established this year by the Sean and Cindy Murphy family for Peachtree Ridge HS graduates. This one-time $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a deserving graduating senior who has a cumulative 2.7 GPA at end of 1st semester Senior year, has participated in at least 2 years of sports during high school and NOT getting any scholarship to play sports in college.
Requirements: (maximum 300-word answer per question)
- How have athletics shaped your personal growth and development?
- If you could change one aspect of your high school experience, what would it be and why do you believe this change would have made a difference?
- A list of sports, activities, and community service that you participated in during high school - include years involved and any positions held.
- A letter of recommendation from a faculty member at your school which includes position.
