Adrienne Hood is a General Manager for Simon Property Group, the largest retail REIT in the US. Following more than a decade working in residential real estate Adrienne joined Simon as Assistant General Manager at The Domain in Austin, TX – a premier outdoor lifestyle center combining retail, residential, office, and entertainment spaces. Shortly after, she was promoted to General Manager of The Shops at Chestnut Hill in Boston, MA, where she led operations at the boutique upscale shopping center. Adrienne’s leadership journey continued as she took over management of White Oaks Mall, a 1-million-square-foot regional center in Central Illinois and later served as General Manager at Orlando International Premium Outlets.
A graduate of Tuskegee University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Adrienne also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and has completed executive business programs through Emory University and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Throughout her career Adrienne’s civic and philanthropic involvement included board and committee roles with the John Wieland 2nd Mile Foundation, A Better Chance, the CAI Foundation Fundraising Committee, Project REAP, the Springfield, IL Convention and Visitors Bureau and membership on the Simon DEI Council prior to its deactivation.
An Atlanta native, Adrienne is thrilled to be back in her home state of Georgia, managing Sugarloaf Mills, the largest entertainment and retail shopping center in metro Atlanta. She brings with her a strong passion for community engagement and economic development, branding and placemaking, and philanthropy specifically targeting youth impact. Adrienne currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Sugarloaf Community Improvement District (SCID) and the Gwinnett County Convention and Visitors Bureau (GCVB). Adrienne served as the 2025 chair of the Simon Youth Foundation (SYF) South Region fundraiser for the 3rd year in a row, leading the event that raises over $100,000 annually for scholarships and programming for local high school students. In 2025 she was also nominated for the Gwinnett Chamber’s Influence Award and Leadership Gwinnett.
