Peach State Federal Credit Union Legacy Student Scholarship
This annual $2,000 scholarship award is to honor the legacy of past and present board members and employees who have served Peach State Federal Credit Union for 20 years or more. It is awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be attending college to pursue a degree in education.
This scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be attending college to pursue a degree in education. All scholarship winners will be chosen by the end of April 2019 and notified shortly thereafter.
A copy of your SAT or ACT scores.
A copy of your transcript indicating your high school grade point average.
A two page, double-spaced, typed essay expressing your desire to be a teacher and why. Indicate the field in which you wish to teach in the public schools. Describe any experiences you have had which have helped shape your decision to pursue a career in the field of education.
Two letters of reference; one from a teacher and one from an administrator or counselor in your current high school who can attest to your potential as a prospective education major.
