The Fort Daniel historic site on Hog Mountain dates back more than 200 years, but officials from the Fort Daniel Foundation and Gwinnett Archaeological Research Society will be celebrate a more recent milestone this weekend.
The 10th annual Fort Daniel Frontier Faire will be held from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Fort Daniel historic site, which is located at 2505 Braselton Highway in unincorporated Buford. Although it won’t officially open until Aug. 2019, the health sciences themed high school in the Meadowcreek district has its principal. Nicole Mosley was elevated to the yet-to-be-named theme school following approval by the Gwinnett County Public Schools Board of Education during its Thursday meeting.
