Tuesday night during the first intermission of the Atlanta Gladiators game at Infinite Energy Arena, GCPS Foundation Executive Director Kelly Herndon and Atlanta Gladiator representative Matt Ritzer presented Gwinnett seniors Camryn Petit from Mill Creek High School and Aliana Stehr from Mountain View High School each a $1,000 Atlanta Gladiators Aim High college scholarship for students interested in sports medicine, sports management, entertainment or similarly related career.
The scholarship is offered each year through a partnership between the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation and the Atlanta Gladiators and funded by teachers, students and community members taking advantage of special Gladiator discount nights for education.
